One of the biggest questions heading into the offseason is where will Matthew Stafford play in 2021? Will the Detroit Lions‘ new general manager and head coach (when hired) decide to trade Stafford or will they decide he still has enough gas in the tank to continue building around him?
If Lions’ LT Taylor Decker has anything to say about it, Stafford will be the Lions quarterback moving forward.
Decker told reporters on Monday that Stafford is the “most respected” teammate he has ever played with.
Taylor Decker said it isn't his call on Matthew Stafford but called him "my most respected teammate I've ever played with."
Said he doesn't know what will happen but wants to keep protecting his blindside because he loves him.
"Everybody knows I love Stafford."

When asked if he would actively lobby Stafford to remain in the Motor City, Decker’s response was right to the point.
“Of course,” Decker said.
Taylor Decker on if he'll lobby for Matthew Stafford to stay: "Of course."
