According to a report from Horns247, the Texas Longhorns are expected to hire current Detroit Lions DL coach Bo Davis.
From Horns247:
Bo Davis, most recently the defensive line coach of the NFL’s Detroit Lions, is expected to join Steve Sarkisian’s Texas staff in the same role, a source close to the situation told Horns247 Thursday. Davis previously coached defensive tackles for the Longhorns under former head coach Mack Brown from 2011-2013 between two stints on Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama (2007-2010; 2014-2015).
Davis was last in the college game at UTSA in 2017 before joining the Lions in 2018.
