The day was October 27, 2019, and the Detroit Lions were looking to get back to the .500 mark after losing 3-straight games after starting off the season with a 2-1-1 record.
On that day, the Lions hosted the New York Giants at Ford Field and the home team took care of business by defeating the Giants 31-26.

Unfortunately, that was the last time the Lions won at their home field as they have since dropped 6-straight games at Ford Field and they will look to break that streak on Sunday when they host the Indianapolis Colts.
That’s right, folks, it has been over a full calendar year since the Lions won a game at home and as you know, we live in a different world. A world that is in the middle of a global pandemic that has lasted way too long.
I guess the big question is, what lasts longer, the Detroit Lions home losing streak or COVID-19. To be honest, let’s hope they both end as soon as possible.
