1. 2003: Corey Redding, DE, Texas
The 2003 class provided us with some names like Charles Rogers, Artose Pinner, Terrence Holt, and Boss Bailey. But it was the third-round pick Redding who emerges as the class’ top player.
Redding spent six years in Detroit racking up 160 tackles, 16 sacks, and four forced fumbles. Redding has played for four teams since the Lions, playing for the Arizona Cardinals this past year.
At age 35, Redding will likely decide to retire very soon after a solid NFL career.
