The Lions’ best pick in each NFL Draft since 2000

2000: Reuben Droughns, RB, Oregon

Another abysmal class for the Lions that included names like Stockar McDougle, Barrett Green, Todd Franz, Quinton Reese, and Alfonso Boone.

Reuben Droughns was the third-round pick in the draft and while he did virtually nothing for the Lions, he was able to put together a pair of 1,000 yard seasons for both the Broncos and the Browns.

Droughns played nine seasons in the NFL, and his last season was with the New York Giants in 2012.
