The NFL will postpone Week 4 matchup between New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs

Within the past hour, news broke that New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has tested positive for COVID-19.

Following his positive test, the Patriots immediately called in all of their players and staff members to get tested and all of those tests came back negative.

There is one problem. Just because those tests came back negative today does not mean those players and staff members are in the clear. Because of that, the Patriots Week 4 matchup vs. the Kansas City Chiefs should be postponed. And I believe it will be.

As we have seen this week with the Tennessee Titans, more and more players and staff members are testing positive on a daily basis, despite the first person in the organization testing positive early in the week.

Stay tuned, but look for the Patriots vs. Chiefs game to be postponed, as it should be.
