With 4 seconds left in the 4th, Case Keenum hikes the ball, drops back and unleashes a bomb to Stefon Diggs – in the air, hurtling backward over Saints defender Marcus Williams, regains his balance and it was off to the races. 61-yard reception, like something out of a movie.

“I can’t even explain it, man. We were definitely in desperation mode,” Keenum told a Fox reporter on the field after the game. “We fought to the very end, and that’s special. One of the special times in my life.

“I don’t even know what just happened. It’s crazy. I have no words.” — via ESPN

JUST IN: Matt Patricia “likely” to be named Lions coach per ESPN

It appears that the “will he, won’t he” saga of Matt Patricia and the Detroit Lions could soon officially be answered.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the current New EngStefon land Patriots defensive coordinator is “likely” to be named Lions head coach once New England’s season has ended, whenever that may be as they have just advanced to the AFC championship.
