On February 23, 2021, golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a life-threatening, single-car crash that nearly caused him to lose a leg.
Now, a year later, Woods gave an update on his recovery and made the bold prediction that he will play again on the PGA Tour, though he will pick and choose the events he plays in.
“Will I come back, yes,” Woods said when he was asked about his future on the PGA Tour. “Will I come back and play a full schedule, no … Pick and choose my events,” he said.
Tiger on his recovery: "I wish I could tell you when I'll play again, but I don't…I haven't done any of the long stuff seriously. I'm still working on the walking part.
"My foot was a little messed up there a year ago, so the walking part…it still takes time."
