Tigers announce return of Jordan Zimmermann and additional moves after blowout loss

The Detroit Tigers got absolutely blown out this afternoon at Comerica Park, falling to the Milwaukee Brewers by a ghastly 19-0 final score, and were outhit 21-2.

Afterwards, they announced a series of roster moves. Pitcher Jordan Zimmermann will make his return for the first time this season, and will pitch tomorrow. Additionally, Kyle Funkhouser and John Schreiber have been optioned to Toledo.

Nick Ramirez has also been added to the roster, while Ivan Nova and JaCoby Jones have been placed on the 45-Day IL.
