With the save in today’s 3-1 Tigers victory, closer Shane Greene set an MLB record. Greene is the first player ever to record seven saves in his team’s first 10 games.

Greene has had an incredible start to the 2019 season. The Tigers closer is seven for seven in save attempts and hasn’t given up a run so far this year to go along with his six strikeouts. Greene and the Tigers will look to continue their hot start when they take on the Indians Tuesday afternoon.
