The Detroit Tigers have five remaining arbitration eligible players on the roster that still need to be tendered contracts.
According to MLBTradeRumors.com., here are the five players’ estimated arbitration value.
►Matthew Boyd, $6.4 million.
►Daniel Norris, $2.9 million.
►Michael Fulmer, $2.8 million.
►JaCoby Jones, $1.4 million.
►Buck Farmer, $1.1 million.
The deadline to exchange salary figures is January 10. Negotiations can then continue until February 3.
The Tigers originally had nine players set for arbitration, but with the expected $20 million price tag that would come with that, the team released Blaine Hardy, John Hicks and Daniel Stumpf; Drew VerHagen signed to play in Japan.
