The Detroit Tigers got a scare on Tuesday night at Comerica Park, losing 2B Jonathan Schoop after after he was hit by a pitch.
However, they caught a break – he won’t be missing any time. Skipper Ron Gardenhire announced tonight that x-rays came back negative, and that Schoop should be available to play tomorrow.
Schoop is hitting .295 with eight home runs and 22 RBI so far in 2020 for the Tigers, who were able to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers by a 8-3 final score.
