Tigers release Daniel Schlereth

As the Detroit Tigers continue to search for bullpen help it appears that Daniel Schlereth will not be part of that plan.

The left-hander came to Detroit along with Max Scherzer in December of 2009. Since then, Schlereth has spent most of his playing days with the Toledo Mud Hens. His career stats include a 4.35 ERA, 1 Save, and 91 Strike Outs. He is also the son of ESPN analyst Mark Schlereth.
