Tigers release lineup for first matchup vs. division rival Indians

Can the Tigers break their 17 game skid against the Tribe?


The Detroit Tigers are mired in a 17-game losing skid against their Central Division counterparts, and they'll be looking to break that streak tonight.

Detroit hosts the Cleveland Indians for the first of a three game set starting tonight at Comerica Park. Prior to tonight's matchup, they announced they've activatedCameron Maybin from the IL while optioning Travis Demeritte to Toledo.

He'll be back in the lineup tonight, with Ivan Nova on the mound:

Considering that starter Matthew Boyd is currently sporting a ghastly 10.24 ERA combined with the fact that Mize isn't getting any actual starts in Toledo, Avila's comments may not sit well with Tigers fans. What do you think?
