Tigers release pitching rotation for upcoming crucial series vs. Indians

The Tigers playoff chances could go a long way in either direction against the Indians.

The Detroit Tigers playoff hopes for 2020 could very well rest with their upcoming series with their division rival and nemesis Cleveland Indians.

It’s going to take a miracle for the Tigers, who have surprised many during the shortened 2020 campaign, to qualify for the yearly dance.

Ahead of their series against Cleveland, they’ve released their pitching rotation. Thursday’s game will feature Casey Mize on the mound, followed by Michael Fulmer, Spencer Turnbull, and Matthew Boyd, respectively.

At 21-26, the Tigers are currently 4.5 games back of the Tribe, five games behind the Toronto Blue Jays, and 5.5 games back of the New York Yankees.
