Tigers RHP Jordan Zimmermann to make likely final start with Detroit tomorrow

Tomorrow could be Jordan Zimmermann's last appearance with the Tigers.

It could soon be the end of an era in the Motor City that started with plenty of promise and anticipation, but quickly went south.

Pitcher Jordan Zimmermann, in the final year of a hefty contract signed in 2016, is slated to make the start tomorrow for the Detroit Tigers in what will likely be his last appearance with the team:

Zimmermann was inked to a five year, $110 million contract with Detroit in 2016, and began his tenure with the team in dominating fashion. However, he failed to live up to expectations that came with the deal.
