Tigers sign Efren Navarro to minor-league deal

The Detroit Tigers have signed first baseman Efren Navarro to a minor league contract, according to Rich Dubroff of PressBoxOnline.

He last played in the majors with Anaheim in 2015. Last season, he saw action with the Triple-A affiliates of Seattle and St. Louis. He also participated in Baltimore’s camp last spring. He’ll likely see regular playing time with the Toledo Mudhens in 2017.
