Titus Young Released by the Detroit Lions

Well, they finally pulled the trigger. Looks like Titus will have to make the Hall of Fame on a team other than the Lions.

The Detroit Lions announced today that they have released WR Titus Young.

In two seasons with the Lions, Young played in 26 games (17 starts) and registered 81 receptions for 990 yards while recording 10 receiving touchdowns. Young was drafted by the Lions in the second round (44th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Boise State.

  1. I say we should have kept him and packaged him in a trade around draft time. Granted he’s an idiot but a decent player.

  2. Hahahaha worst professional sports organization on the planet! Another draft pick wasted, what a bunch of bums.

  3. I wonder,I bet the Lions have had more #1 draft picks than any other team yet still stink ! Always Next Year, Right.
