During the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 45-17 blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins, Buccaneers QB Tom Brady injured his right thumb.
Though Brady is expected to play on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, a source of The Athletic suggests Brady’s injury is not something that should just be dismissed as something minor.
From The Athletic:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (right thumb) is expected to play Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the injury isn’t viewed as something minor and worth dismissing. Brady will continue to get treatment on the thumb until it heals.
It seems like Brady will be able to continue to play through his thumb injury but this is certainly something to keep an eye on moving forward.
