According to a report from Justin Thind, Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo has added Western Michigan transfer Jason Whitens to his roster as a preferred walk-on for the 2021-22 season.
Whitens, who is a 6’4″ guard, started 47 games during his time in Kalamazoo.
2020-21 stats: 5.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 24 assists, 2 blocks, 7 steals – 19 games played
Can confirm that Tom Izzo has added Western Michigan transfer Jason Whitens to the Michigan State roster.
