Michigan State Spartans head coach Tom Izzo is taking his recruiting efforts international. But he didn’t have terribly far to go.
Izzo paid a visit to Karim Mane, a five-star combo guard from Montreal.
Michigan State’s Tom Izzo will be in Canada today to meet with Top-50 senior Karim Mane, a source told @Stockrisers. The Spartans have yet to offer but will likely get involved.

And according to a source, the Spartans have extended an offer to Mane.

The 6-foot-4, 195 lb Mane broke out on the Under Armour circuit, and averaged over 11 points, four rebounds and three assists with the Canadian under-19 team this summer. In addition to the Spartans, he’s also been eyed by Kansas, Illinois and Maryland
