8. Darius Slay’s game winning interception vs. Eagles
It seems that Darius “Big Play” Slay takes his nickname quite seriously. And nowhere was that shown more than in the fourth quarter of the Lions’ upset (at the time) victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Ford Field. Slay made a leaping beauty of an interception on a Carson Wentz-thrown ball.
7. Marvin Jones 73-yard catch and run in Green Bay
Before the play below, there was little to nothing for Lions fans to cheer about. Then like a lightning strike right before halftime, Matthew Stafford launched a beauty down the sideline to Marvin Jones and he did the rest. The Lions couldn’t quite finish the job in Lambeau but this was definitely a highlight.
