5 potential Detroit Tigers trade targets

There is always room for improvement, no matter how good or how bad a team is. The Detroit Tigers have a depleted bullpen and are struggling at catcher, among other issues. As we know, David Dombrowski loves to make trades, sometimes even lucrative trades. Most of them work out- or at least seemed to have- in recent years. So, here are the top 5 Detroit Tigers trade targets.

#5- Stephen Strasburg

Yes, call me crazy, but this trade could workout in the long run for the Tigers. Stephen Strasburg was the face of the Washington Nationals before Bryce Harper came along. Now with Max Scherzer, the Nationals are taking on huge contracts in the starting pitcher department. There have been rumors of the Nats wanting to move him, and the Tigers could give up Kyle Lobstien and a few prospects to boost the rotation. Of the five trades, this is for sure the least likely.
