#3- Brayan Pena

Let’s face it, Alex Avila has struggled a lot, especially in the last few seasons. Brayan Pena would be a great fit to bring back to Detroit with a young James McCann behind him. McCann is hitting .300 right now in 40 plate appearances, but is struggling at times defensively. Pena, who played with Detroit as backup catcher in 2013, is currently splitting time with Devin Mesoraco in Cincinnati. Pena is currently batting a solid .293, they could trade Avila and a prospect in a swap for Pena.  Honestly, it would be a good idea to do so.
