In 2001 we witnessed one of the greatest performances by a Little League baseball player ever in the Little League World Series. Unfortunately it was not done by a Little League player.

Danny Almonte, along with his 76 mile-per-hour fastball, struck out 62 of the 72 batters he faced and only gave up three hits in three games in the series.

It was later found out that Almonte was actually 14-years-old at the time of the Little League World Series, two years older than what the rules allow.
