The bad news? The Detroit Red Wings did not earn the 1st overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, instead having to settle for the 4th overall pick.
The good news? There will still be plenty of talent for GM Steve Yzerman to choose from. And one of the players that you can bet he’ll have in his considerations is right-handed defenseman Jamie Drysdale of the OHL’s Erie Otters.

He’s been outstanding for a middling Erie squad putting up a point-per-game through 40 games.
