Don't expect defensive end Trey Flowers to say that he regrets leaving the dynasty of the New England Patriots to sign with the Detroit Lions.

Flowers, who signed a five year, $90 million contract with Detroit in 2019, was reunited with former Patriots Danny Amendola and Matt Patricia.
However, the winning ways he enjoyed with the Patriots haven't translated into wins in the Motor City. So does Flowers think he made a mistake by signing with Detroit? No chance.
“I mean, obviously, frustrated about not winning. You know, just as far as me knowing this is where I’m supposed to be, obviously God don’t make no mistakes,” Flowers said via Zoom. “This is where I chose to be, and this is where I’m at, and this is I got to — me and everybody in that locker room, in this whole organization — has to figure out a way to win. That’s what I’m doing, we doing. That’s just the steps we got to take.”
The Lions are entering their bye week after dropping their third of four games so far in 2020 on Sunday to the New Orleans Saints, and doing so in record-setting fashion.
