
During the Detroit Red Wings‘ recent win over the New Jersey Devils, F Tyler Bertuzzi was hit by a puck and was forced to miss the rest of the game.
The injury happened during the second period. At the time, Bertuzzi has posted two shots on goal and an assist in 8:14 of ice time.

According to the Detroit Red Wings, Bertuzzi will be out for 4-6 weeks with an upper-body injury.
The Red Wings also announced that Jakub Vrana will also miss tonight's game due to personal reasons.
When was Bertuzzi injured?
Bertuzzi was injured during the second period of Saturday's game against the New Jersey Devils when he blocked a shot. The Red Wings quickly announced that he would not return to the game and we now know that he will be out for at least a month.

This is obviously a huge loss for the Red Wings as Bertuzzi is coming off a 2021-22 season where he scored 30 goals and dished out 32 assists in 62 games played.
