U-M running back Derrick Green not with team at Citrus Bowl

According to reports, Universtiy of Michgian junior running back Derrick Green did not travel with the team and will not play in the Citrus Bowl on January 1st.

“It’s an internal matter,” Jim Harbaugh told media after Sunday’s practice.

The Citrus Bowl will mark the fourth consecutive game that Green has not dressed.

Since coming to Michigan as the top ranked running back in the class of 2013, Green has failed to live up to the hype. He has only carried the ball 47 times for 164 yards this season.

Harbaugh has said that Green is still a part of the team, but there are rumors going around that he may not be for long.
