The University of Michigan men’s basketball team is looking for new travel plans, after their DC-9 charter aircraft aborted takeoff and slid off the runway at Detroit Willow Run Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

All were reported safe and there were no injuries according to FOX Sports reporter Matt Shepard who apparently was on the plane. Winds at the time were gusting to upwards of 55 MPH, but there is no official reason for why the pilots decided to abort the takeoff.

The Wolverines were traveling to Washington DC for the Big Ten Basketball Tournament where they’ll play Illinois tomorrow afternoon.
