United Shore Professional Baseball League to host Fan Home Run Derby

Have you ever convinced a group of friends to meet up at a local ballpark for a little home run derby competition? If you have played baseball or softball at any level then the answer to that question is probably obvious, of course you have!

Well, thanks to the United Shore Professional Baseball League, you and your buddies will have the chance to show what you’ve got at a professional ballpark this coming Sunday morning, when the league hosts its first ever Fan Home Run Derby.

That’s right, USPBL fans, on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, you will have your shot to swing for the fences at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, Michigan.

USPBL Hosting Fan Home Run Derby

WHAT:      The United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL), the first independent professional baseball league in Metro Detroit, is hosting a Home Run Derby for its fans this Sunday, July 10, 2016 – one day before the major league version surrounding the All-Star Game.

Every entrant will receive 10 pitches. Anyone who hits a home run will receive a team t-shirt and be entered into a drawing to win 2 Front Row Club Season Tickets for the 2017 Baseball Season.

*Bats will be provided by the USPBL.

Cost is $25 and includes grandstand ticket to July 10th game. Additional grandstand tickets are just $15.
