Update on Matthew Stafford’s status for Week 4 game vs. Chiefs

On Friday, the Detroit Lions released their final Injury Report for their Week 4 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and we were all surprised to see Matthew Stafford‘s name appear.

According to the report, Stafford (hip) is “questionable” for Sunday’s game.

Now, according to a recent tweet from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Stafford is expected to play against the Chiefs.

Though the Lions are saying Stafford is dealing with a hip issue, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reported that sources have indicated to him that it is actually a back issue.
