Updated: Christian Wood signs with Houston Rockets

According to James Edwards III, Wood’s deal with the Rockets is actually worth near $14 million per season. This makes much more sense.

According to reports, former Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood is close to finalizing a 3-year, $27 million deal with the Houston Rockets.

Wood, who just turned 25, averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds in 62 games with the Pistons during the 2019-20 season.

In the 12 games Wood started at the end of the season, he averaged 21.9 points and 9.4 rebounds.
