Earlier this morning, reports surfaced that the Detroit Lions had cut cornerback Michael Jackson.
Well, just moments ago the Lions announced they have traded Jackson to the New England Patriots for an undisclosed 2022 draft pick.

According to Adam Caplan, the Lions will receive a conditional 7th round pick in exchange for Jackson. It is important to note that many times, these conditional picks only change hands if the player being traded makes the roster.
