Detroit Lions GM Brad Holmes has had a busy 1st offseason on the job, bringing aboard several new faces while bidding goodbye to others.
With the 2021 NFL Draft now in the books along with several undrafted free-agents broad aboard, we now have a better idea of the current cap space that the team has to work with.
As of Tuesday May 4, the Lions currently sit at $22 million in space, good for 6th overall in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars lead the NFL currently with a whopping $39 million in space, while the New Orleans Saints have a mere $225K in space.
The NFL has set the 2021 Salary Cap at $182.5 million.
