According to a new report, Flames GM Brad Treliving says Bill Peters has not been fired, the investigation is ongoing.

According to reports, the Calgary Flames have fired head coach Bill Peters following allegations that he used the racial slurs against a former member of the Calgary Flames’ organization, Akim Aliu.

Peters, who had been the head coach of the Flames since 2018, was an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings in 2011.

Here are the tweets Aliu sent out on Monday night, accusing Peters of making racial slurs towards him.
