According to reports, the Calgary Flames have fired head coach Bill Peters following allegations that he used the racial slurs against a former member of the Calgary Flames’ organization, Akim Aliu.

Peters, who had been the head coach of the Flames since 2018, was an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings in 2011.
