Prior to the start of the 2019 NFL regular season, USA Today writer Nate Davis released his record prediction for each team and he caught a ton of backlash from this area as he predicted the Detroit Lions to finish 3-13.
Well, as we now know, the Lions finished the 2019 season with a 3-12-1 record, making Davis look like Nostradamus.
*Granted, Davis predicted the Lions to go 3-13 with a healthy Matthew Stafford, which was not the case as he missed half of the season recovering from a broken back.
So, what does Davis think about the Lions chances in 2020?
As you can see below, Davis has more faith in the 2020 Lions as he is picking them to go 7-9, which is a nice improvement from a year ago but not enough to get them into the playoffs.
Nation, what do you think? Is 7-9 a solid guess for the Lions 2020 record?
