JT Daniels, a former former five-star recruit quarterback, has hit the transfer portal from USC, and one of the alleged destinations he could consider would see him wearing the Maize and Blue.

According to Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider, “Michigan is one of the schools he has definite interest in.”
The two sides already have a history, with the Wolverines recruiting Daniels in 2017 and going so far as to make him a priority in their 2018 recruiting class.
As a true freshman for USC, he threw for 2,672 yards, 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. However, his sophomore season was derailed by a torn ACL.
Of course, the Wolverines are returning Dylan McCaffrey and Joe Milton, who have more experience with the team’s offense. But could head coach Jim Harbaugh desire Daniels’ pocket passer mentality?
