VIDEO: Detroit Lions lose wide receiver on first offensive drive

Sure, the preseason stats don’t count, nor do they matter. But one thing that most definitely does matter during the preseason is an injury. You have been warned, the following video does NOT look good!

Jermaine Kearse, who signed with the Lions in the offseason, was injured on Detroit’s first offensive possession of the preseason. To make matters worse, it seems to be at least a fairly significant injury, as the game was forced to be halted while the cart came out to take him off.

In his career, Kearse has 255 catches for 3,290 yards with 17 touchdowns. He had stints with the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets in his career before signing with Detroit.
