If you have not heard by now, the Detroit Lions lost to the Green Bay Packers this past Sunday, all but eliminating Detroit from playoff contention.
Though I am not about to say the officials cost the Lions the game, because they did not, there was a horrendous call that should have been overturned but was not.
That play came when Matthew Stafford threw a beautiful pass which Marvin Jones Jr. caught while getting both feet in bounds. The pass was ruled incomplete but Darrell Bevell tossed out the red challenge flag and after watching multiple replays, it seemed like the call would be overturned.
Well, that was not the case as the call on the field stood.
Now a video has emerged showing Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Davante Adams talking to Jones Jr. after the game and admitting that it was absolutely a catch.
Check it out!
Even Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams thought it was a catch! @NFLOfficiating pic.twitter.com/3tgrNz3DW9
