Playing time has been tough to come by for Denver Nuggets guard Gary Harris. In his rookie year with the Denver Nuggets, Harris has spent most of the season buried on the depth chart beneath waves of wily vets. In 37 appearances, he’s averaging just 3.2 points per game.
Yet, when he does manage to see some floor time, the former Izzo product seems to have a pretty solid highlights-to-playing time ratio. First, there was the wild above-the-rim finish in his NBA debut.
And now, after last night, we have volume two:
Harris scored just two points in Denver’s 106-78 destruction of the New York Knicks, but in typical fashion, he made them count.
Keeping plugging away, Gary. Your time will come.
