Watch and celebrate, Sparty! Michigan fans, you may want to look away.
Michigan State’s Cassius Winston helped his team overcome a double-digit deficit against in-state rival Michigan en route to a 75-63 win at a rocking Breslin Center. With the win, the Spartans have earned their second consecutive Big Ten title; their record is 16-4 in conference play with a 25-6 overall mark.
Winston started the game a pedestrian 1-for-8 shooting, but turned things around by hitting four straight shots to put the Spartans up by seven with just under eight minutes remaining in regulation. Ignas Brazdeikis led the Wolverines with 20 points before fouling out late in the game.
Both teams will now start the Big Ten tournament; should they both win their first two games in Chicago, they’ll have a rematch next Sunday.

The Detroit Lions want “The Doctor” as their no. 2 running back
As the Detroit Lions prepare for free agency and the NFL Draft, one position many think they should add is a running back to complement Kerryon Johnson.
In a piece from the Detroit Free Press titled, “Detroit Lions free agency: 10 players who make sense for Matt Patricia,” Lions beat writer Dave Birkett mentioned something we found extremely interesting.
“The Lions do want Zach Zenner back as their No. 2 running back, but if Zenner goes elsewhere Davis would make for a nice, low-priced complement to Kerryon Johnson,” Birkett said when talking about free agent running back, Mike Davis.
Well, apparently, Birkett has some inside info that the Lions may not be in the market for a No. 2 running back as we thought!
Nation, are good with the Lions going into the 2019 season with Zenner as the No. 2 behind Kerryon Johnson?
Personally, I would prefer they either sign or draft a back to take the No. 2 duties and have Zenner as the No. 3.
