Now, in the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Pistons seem to be drifting back toward cultural anonymity. So when Jodie Meeks broke off one of his familiar curls during last night’s game against the Pelicans, proceeding to unleash a seismic tomahawk between Anthony Davis and Quincy Pondexter, we should have known better than to believe somebody, anybody was going to upload that clip in a timely manner.

Finally, after being overlooked for the NBA’s nightly Top Ten, it’s emerged (thanks to user DownToBuck):

Meeks’ finish accounted for just two of his 20 points on the evening, serving as a revival of sorts following an extended slump. Perhaps most importantly, the dunk and the subsequent pull-up triple that followed, were Mayor approved.
