This may be difficult for Detroit Tigers fans to watch!
Justin Verlander pitched another gem on Wednesday night, helping his team to a win. Unfortunately, it came at the Tigers expense. The Houston Astros completed the three game sweep of Detroit with Verlander on the mound helping them defeat his former squad at Comerica Park.

In seven innings, Verlander held Detroit to two hits and one run.
“I think I threw enough fastballs to keep them honest,” Verlander said in his post-game interview.
When asked if his second appearance back in Comerica Park since his trade to Houston seemed more normal to him this time around, Verlander smiled.
“Not really,” he said with a chuckle. “It was definitely still a little bit nerve racking. The fans were fantastic, except for this one guy in the 1st inning who was yelling ‘You suck!’
“It’s always a special moment coming back here,” he continued. “From the ovation, to walking out, to the fans by the bullpen, from the first time taking the mound…it was all very special.”
