Well, this certainly took some guts!
A New England Patriots fan was arrested after impersonating a security officer and trying to gain access to the Patriots locker room, where they were celebrating their Super Bowl victory. The fan was dressed in an orange jacket with “S.A.F.E SECURITY” printed on the back.
“Why you got the jacket?” one of the actual security guards asked him in the heat of the moment.
“She gave it to me,” the man responded, vaguely.
“Who gave it to you?” the security guard said. “Who gave it to you? Who?”

Needless to say, the security at Mercedes-Benz Stadium didn’t fall for it and removed the jacket, revealing a Tom Brady jersey underneath.
The incident is notable due to former TV reporter Mauricio Ortega stealing Super Bowl memorabilia from locker rooms for years, including Brady’s game-worn jersey. This fan wasn’t able to leave without any souvenirs!

Kerryon Johnson is fired up about Detroit Lions’ new OC Darrell Bevell
On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions shocked just about everybody by announcing that Darrell Bevell would be their next offensive coordinator. Bevell’s name was rarely (if at all) mentioned as a potential candidate by the so-called “experts” and it was fun to watch the comments on social media flow in about whether or not it was the right hire.
One person excited about the hire is Lions’ running back Kerryon Johnson. Johnson spoke to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press about his anticipation of playing for Bevell, a coach who has worked with running backs like Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch.
