On Friday, Mike Ilitch passed away at the age of 87. During his time on this earth, he brought joy to millions of people, most of which he never met. As owner of the Detroit Red Wings, Mr. I gave us four Stanley Cups and as owner of the Detroit Tigers, he was willing to do whatever it took to bring home a World Series title, even if the team fell short. As Detroiters, we will forever be in debt.
