The University of Michigan announced this morning that they’ve officially extended Warde Manuel as their Athletic Director for another five years:
BREAKING: Warde Manuel will be the University of Michigan's athletic director for 5 more years. The board of regents will approve a contract extension good until June 30, 2026 at its meeting Thursday, according to the meeting's agenda. No dollar amounts disclosed.

Manuel, 52, has served as Michigan’s AD since 2016. He’s brought aboard notable hires such as Juwan Howard and Mel Pearson, both of whom have enjoyed success with their respective squads.
He also signed Jim Harbaugh to a contract extension for less pay while also putting together a new-look coaching staff.
