Though it did not come as much of a surprise, Detroit Red Wings Captain Henrik Zetterberg made it official on Friday that he was hanging up his skates due to a degenerative back condition. What is amazing is that even though he was in pain, Hank played in all 82 games in each of his final three seasons.

Originally a 7th-round selection, Zetterberg racked up 337 goals and 623 assists in 1,082 career games.
Not bad for a 7th-round pick.
Congratulations, Henrik, on a marvelous career. ????????????

On Monday night, one of Matt Patricia’s dreams came true as he led the Detroit Lions into battle against the New York Jets in Week 1 of the NFL regular season. Unfortunately, that dream quickly became a nightmare as the Jets cruised to a 48-17 victory in what many are considering one of the most disappointing Lions’ games of all-time.
Throughout training camp, we have heard how intense Patricia is while coaching his team but we really never have got to see him in action. Thanks to the NFL Network, we can get a little taste of how Patricia handles himself on the Lions sideline as he was mic’d up for his first game.
Enjoy!
