Niko Goodrum made the start in centerfield for the Tigers today and he certainly made his presence known. In the 5th inning he recorded an outfield assist by throwing out Cam Gallagher at second base.
Niko Goodrum with a good route and uses his gloveside momentum to turn and fire a strike to get Gallagher trying to streatch a single into a double. It would've been hard for Niko to mess that route up, but he has done it in the past. He's learning. pic.twitter.com/SMVu2ao40t

Goodrum would later top that play by laying out for a spectacular catch in the 9th inning to seal the Tigers 3-1 victory.
